Many have spoken about living in the gift and most notably Charles Eisenstein has written at length about gift economies. There is also Michael Tellinger of the Ubuntu movement that speaks at length to living in a community driven by what he calls "Contributionism". Let us "do the right thing, and take action with awareness" regardless of money. We live in a world that is driven by commerce and commerce has truly proven itself to be warfare. Having vowed to live a life of non-violence, truthfulness, non-stealing, and non-harming, I have found that being "in commerce" makes abiding by these vows extremely difficult. This is why the gift page is here.
In my time exploring the idea of the gift and gift economies it has come to light for me that there is still so much transformation and education that must happen before we can truly live in the gift. My understanding is that in order for a gift to be complete, it must be fully received without tension or stress, or else the purity of the offer is tarnished and violence occurs in some form, even if just in the mind. I am happy to receive your gifts in whatever form enables you to truly receive my gifts to you. The gift should be continually in motion and transforming from form to form remaining in essence a powerful moving energy that supports thriving life.
Use this page as you will and please reach out if there is any way I can help you in this deep process of giving and receiving for the betterment, upliftment, and joyful exchange of energy between living things to support thriving life everywhere.
