Many have spoken about living in the gift and most notably Charles Eisenstein has written at length about gift economies. There is also Michael Tellinger of the Ubuntu movement that speaks at length to living in a community driven by what he calls "Contributionism". Let us "do the right thing, and take action with awareness" regardless of money. We live in a world that is driven by commerce and commerce has truly proven itself to be warfare. Having vowed to live a life of non-violence, truthfulness, non-stealing, and non-harming, I have found that being "in commerce" makes abiding by these vows extremely difficult.
